I love to write, paint, take photographs, get creative with my hands, cook and bake, do yoga, dance, read, meditate, sing, walk, travel, make ceramics and my own soaps. Motherhood has taught me patience, determination, and the importance of imagination and a good sense of humour. 

I have a BA in Theatre Design, and an MA in Creative Writing. Three of my short stories have been published in anthologies. I have worked as a set and costume designer, a stage manager and as an artisan/milliner for the Athens 2004 Olympics Opening Ceremony. I am also a certified yoga teacher. 

I live in Athens, Greece with my husband and our children.

23 Fun Facts About Me Not Many People Know

1) I was born with only 1 wisdom tooth. (You can draw up your own conclusions!)
2) I am addicted to Sudoku, my favourites being Samurai Sudoku.
3) I started drinking coffee at the age of 18 months when my grandmother would pour a little out of her extra-sweet Greek coffee on her saucer and let me drink it.
4) I am still in search for that mythical literary agent! It’s a little like trying to find a literary unicorn! 
5) I live for dreams! They have been my partners in crime for as long as I can remember and are vitally important to me. I would never survive without them, and they influence and inspire me in everything I do.
6) I believe mermaids and angels exist.
7) I am currently making my own compost and loving the process.
8) Most people would never think this of me, but I am extreeeemely shy.
9) As a child, I loved watching horror movies. Alone. In the dark. I still do.
10) I went through an obsessive phase of listening to Erik Satie’s Gnossienne No.1 for days. It drove the children, my husband, the dog, and even our bearded dragon, insane!
11) I love spicy Indian food. The spicier, the better! Even if it sets my mouth on fire!
12) I love sweets. And by sweets, I mean almost anything sweet! Especially chocolate, cupcakes, cookies…the list is endless!
13) Having said that, I don’t like doughnuts or sponge cakes that have been soaked in alcohol. They make me feel ill.
14) My favourite fruit is the mango. Heavenly!
15) My favourite pizza is thin crust, with spinach, olives, garlic and an egg on it.
16) My favourite pasta is Linguine al Pesto. I worship fresh basil!
17) I love art and paintings.
